Using references like this video and the drawings of other videos I had taken I converted the poses into keyframes. I searched on youtube for people throwing controllers at the TV.
This is a test demonstrating this. The spacing between each poses is fairly even in this test. You can see how it is fairly smooth but not quite right. So I can afford to remove some frames from the action as the hand moves over the top so that it appears to move faster to throw the object.
